KEYMIR ORAZOV

Keymir is a qualified lawyer from the Caspian Sea/Central Asia region who has amassed considerable experience in dealing with international and domestic oil and gas legal issues. He was a highly valued team member of both external advisory, in-house legal and business development teams for international oil and gas companies operating in Turkmenistan. Keymir is the first and only Turkmenistan-qualified (licensed) lawyer who holds the status of Registered Foreign Lawyer granted by the Solicitors Regulation Authority of England and Wales.

Keymir’s practice has focused on Commercial and Business Law, Litigation and Investor-State Arbitration, involving the provision of comprehensive legal support for companies operating in Turkmenistan across the construction, energy, petrochemical, oil and gas sectors and others. This has included work for large multinationals with offices in the region such as ExxonMobil, Maersk, Wintershall, OMV, Shell, Technip, BASF, Grundfos, SGS, Rapiscan Systems, NTT Data, Huawei, Samsung, Saipem S.p.A., Coca-Cola and others. He has also acted for transnational companies involved in construction and installation projects In Turkmenistan or operated in within EPC or EPCM legal environment.
